First Church of Christ, Scientist, New Braunfels

The Christian Science church was organized by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879. Her purpose was: "To organize a church designed to commemorate the word and works of our Master [Jesus Christ], which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing." Church Manual

Our church's aim is to help people spiritually understand their relationship to God. This relationship solves problems, brings healing and provides permanent peace and happiness. This brings evidence of ever-present and all-powerful Love to the community.
